In the ongoing IPL 2021, Chennai Super Kings(CSK) faces Rajasthan Royals(RR) on April 19, 2021, at Mumbai. Winning the toss RR decides to bowl first while CSK made some quality runs and RR bowlers show their efforts to dismiss the players to prevent from making a partnership.

The incident happened during the penultimate over of CSK’s batting when MS Dhoni‘s side were searching for quick runs in the end.

Dwayne Bravo looked rock-solid from the word go as he took the bowling attack to the cleaners. During the 19th over of the game, Chris Morris was brought into the attack to keep the batsmen silent. Morris bowled a brilliant delivery outside the off-stump and to which Bravo hit the ball towards Chetan Sakariya who was stationed at the point.

Although Chetan Sakariya and Mustafizur Rahman went after the ball, they couldn’t stop it and the ball went for another boundary which left the bowler angry with them, especially Sakariya, who had failed to field the ball at the first time despite putting a dive.

Chris Morris was certainly unhappy with the effort and was seen hurling a mouthful at the youngster.

Meanwhile, in the second half, Chennai Super Kings put the squeeze on in the middle overs and buried the game dead during that phase. All of that wouldn’t have happened without the brilliant spell of Sam Curran who bowled three inside the powerplay with figures of 2/12.

Jos Buttler tried to steer the run chase but succumbed to pressure. The presence of Shivam Dube only added up to the required run rate as the all-rounder struggled to rotate strike against spinners.

Ravindra Jadeja owned the field in the second innings as he got involved in six of the nine RR’s dismissals. Jaddu put up a fielding clinic on the field and his athletic abilities were on full display, yet again proving why he’s regarded as the best fielder in the world.

Rajasthan Royals could only manage 143 runs; thus, falling short by 45 runs.
