IPL 2026 RCB vs KKR Playing 11: Rajat Patidar-led Royal Challengers Bengaluru will square off against Ajinkya Rahane-led Kolkata Knight Riders in the 57th match of the IPL 2026 on May 13 at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru have been in fine form in the ongoing season with 7 wins out of 11 games. Despite a slight dip in their performance in the recent games, their playoff chances are strong, and they might finish in the top two.

Meanwhile, Kolkata Knight Riders, who had a poor start, made an impressive comeback with four straight wins and will be aiming for a win to keep their qualification chances alive.

Currently, RCB are comfortably sitting in second position while KKR are in the 8th position of the IPL 2026 points table.

On seeing the head to head records, Kolkata Knight Riders have higher win percentage with 20 wins out of 36 games while RCB have 15 wins.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru won the toss and opted to bowl. Speaking at the toss, RCB captain Rajat Patidar said, “We will bowl first. I think it’s a similar wicket we played in the last match. It will behave in a similar way. We will try to keep them under pressure. I think the wickets are pretty much same. There will be variable bounce. That was a good game for us, everyone has a lot of confidence. Every game is important, we are focussing more on playing good cricket. Venky comes in for Shepherd.”

KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane said, “Last four games have been good for us. For us it’s taking one game at a time. It’s about respecting the opponents, and winning those small moments. This format is all about that, winning those small moments is important. Varun is out, Saurabh comes in for him.”
