IPL 2025 DC Head Coach: Delhi Capitals is one of the eight IPL teams to make their debut in the inaugural season. The Delhi-based franchise is also one of the few IPL teams to remain trophy less since their maiden appearance.

IPL 2025 DC Head Coach
Delhi Capitals are yet to announce their head coach for the IPL 2025 season. Former Australian cricketer Ricky Ponting who was the head coach of the Delhi Capitals for the past seven years parted ways with the franchise after the 2024 season. Under his tutelage, DC reached the final of the IPL in 2020 but lost to MI in the United Arab Emirates.
Delhi Capitals is rumoured to be in discussion with Yuvraj Singh for the coaching role in the IPL 2025 season.
IPL 2025 DC Bowling Coach
Former Australian cricketer James Hopes is the bowling coach of Delhi Capitals for the IPL 2025 season. Notably, Hopes played for the Delhi Daredevils in the 2011 IPL.
He executed a decent performance despite the team having a poor season, and when captain Virender Sehwag was injured he was chosen to replace him as interim captain for the final three games.
In those three games, Delhi lost two and won a game and finished in last place. He was transferred to the Pune Warriors for the 2012 IPL but had to pull out of the tournament due to a knee injury.
