IPL 2024 Auction Timing: Ahead of the IPL 2024 season, BCCI has decided to host a mini-auction for the season on December 19 in Dubai.

IPL 2024 Auction Timing: Unlike mega-auction, each squad can retain the majority of their players ahead of the IPL 2024 Auction.
For IPL 2024 Mini Auction, there are no restrictions on the number of players who can be released or retained. In addition to the purse remaining from the previous auction and the value of the players they release, teams will have an additional INR 5 crore to spend in the auction.
A total of 333 cricketers will go under the gavel during the event. Out of 333 players, 214 are Indians and 119 are overseas players of which 2 players are from associate nations.
According to the IPL committee rules, each franchise can have 25 players in their squad, out of which a maximum of 8 can be foreign players. In Playing 11, each team can have a maximum of 4 overseas players in the mix.
The participating 10 teams have a total of 77 slots to fill of which 30 can be overseas players.

IPL 2024 Auction Timing: The IPL 2024 auction is live-streamed and will be broadcast by Telecast channels. Star Sports will broadcast the IPL 2024 Auction live on TV while Jio Cinema will live-stream the event.

- For South Africa, Super Sports will be live-streaming the 2024 auction held in Dubai at 09:30 AM.
- Willow TV will live-stream the Indian Premier League 2024 Auction in the USA at 02:30 AM.
- Sky Sports New Zealand holds the official broadcasting rights of the Indian Premier League 2024 Auction in New Zealand at 08:30 PM.
- Flow Sports holds the broadcasting rights of the IPL 2024 auction in the Caribbean at 01:30 AM.
- In Bangladesh, cricket fans can watch the IPL 2024 auction live streaming on Channel 9 at 12:30 PM.

IPL 2024 Auction Teams Purse Value: Ahead of the IPL 2024 Auction, BCCI increased the purse value of the franchises by INR 5 crores over the existing purse value of about INR 95 crores.
