WPL 2025 RCB Squad: Though Royal Challengers Bangalore made a struggling start in the last edition of the tournament, Smriti Mandhana and Co ended up as the winner of the season.
As per WPL 2025 schedule, the first match will be played between Gujarat Giants and Royal Challengers Bengaluru on February 14 at Vadodara International Cricket Stadium. The WPL 2025 will follow a Double round robin and playoff format.
Ahead of the WPL 2025, as of the last season, all teams announced their retained and released players list as per the WPL rules. As of IPL, an auction will be hosted for the WPL where the teams will get into a bidding war to rope the needed players.
The WPL 2025 auction is scheduled to take place on 15 December 2024 in Bengaluru. BCCI has released the WPL 2025 auction players list ahead of the event date.
