TATA WPL 2024 Schedule: BCCI released the much-awaited Women’s Premier League 2024 schedule on January 23.
As per the 2024 WPL schedule, the defending champions Mumbai Indians will face Delhi Capitals in the opener at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. A total of 22 matches will be played during the Women’s Premier League 2024.
All matches of the WPL 2024 will be played at 7:30 PM IST / 2:00 PM GMT. WPL 2024 will follow the same format as the last season where the top three teams in the league stage will advance to the playoffs round.
WPL 2024 Schedule
Like the previous edition of the tournament, the TATA WPL 2024 schedule will be in no home-away format. The tournament to be in two different cities, Delhi and Bengaluru.

BCCI announced the retained and released players list for WPL 2024 teams on October 19. A total of 60 players including 21 overseas cricketers were retained across five playing teams while 29 players were released from their existing squads.
BCCI hosted the WPL 2024 Auction on December 9 in Mumbai. A total of 165 cricketers will undergo the hammer during the auction event. Out of 165 players, 104 are Indians and 61 are overseas players of which 15 players are from associate nations. The total capped players are 56, uncapped players are 109.
