Women's T20I world cup finals

Finals of the Women’s T20I world cup finals set to begin in few minutes where the squad has been announced for the two teams.

Birthday Skipper | Harmanpreet Haur | India : My mom’s sitting somewhere in the stands. It’s a pressure game and we also wanted to bat first. We are quite confident while chasing, hopefully the bowlers restrict them. We did some indoor practice. We are trying to staying together, because you are not getting games it tends to affect your focus. We want to treat this like any other game and give our best shot.

Meg Lanning | Australia : We are going to have a bat, looks a good wicket. Crowd’s amazing, looking forward to it. Every game has been close, it’s been cut-throat, but we need to be at our best today. India are a great side, hopefully it’s a great game. We are going in with the same team tonight.

Alyssa Healy: I’m a bit emotional, it’s such an incredible day. This is all about so much more than just a game of cricket. To see all these beautiful people come together and celebrate International Women’s Day, pretty special. To play cricket out in the middle is fun. Both sides are well suited to this wicket, it’ll come on nicely. It’ll be a beautiful batting wicket. It’s time for our batting group to step up and get the job done. It’s quite windy, I’m excited to get out there and get some runs. Not one bit at all, no matter the conditions, no matter what the game is, we are going go out there, take the game on and obviously make it exciting for everyone who have come out to watch.
