UAE vs AFG Playing 11: Muhammad Wasim-led United Arab Emirates will square off against Rashid Khan-led Afghanistan in the 3rd match of the UAE Tri-series on September 01 at Sharjah.
Both Afghanistan and the UAE suffered a loss against Pakistan and will be aiming to claim a victory in the upcoming game.
United Arab Emirates have won the toss and have opted to bowl. Speaking on the toss, Muhammad Waseem said, “We are going to bowl first. Nothing special, the pitch is looking good. It will be the same in both innings. We will try to restrict them to under 160. We took positive points from the last game. We have two changes.”
Meanwhile, Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan said, “We wanted to bat first, we got what we wanted, so happy with that. I feel as a team we need to keep things simple. It’s about us, how we are going to play. That matters. We don’t want to repeat the mistakes we made in the last game. We have one change.”
