SL vs ZIM Playing 11: Dasun Shanaka-led Sri Lanka will square off against Sikandar Raza-led Zimbabwe in the 2nd match of the Pakistan Tri-Nation series 2025 on November 20 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Zimbabwe suffered a defeat in the opening match of the tri-nation series and will be aiming to secure a win in the upcoming game. Pakistan secured a thrilling 5-wicket victory in the game after decent knocks from Fakhar Zaman and Usman Khan.
Both Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe have met on nine occasions, where Sri Lanka has a dominating record of seven wins, while Zimbabwe has 2 wins.
Charith Asalanka and Asitha Fernando will be returning home due to illness, while Dasun Shanaka has been handed over the captaincy for the series.

Sri Lanka won the toss and opted to bowl. Speaking at the toss, Dasun Shanaka said, “We are bowling first. It is a used pitch and there is going to be some dew, that is a factor. There are players who have played in Pakistan and we can use their experience to come out with the goods.”
“Some new faces in the dugout – surely that brings a bit of freshness. Hopefully they deliver. Respecting them is important, of course, especially with someone like Sikandar Raza in form, we will try to restrict them and obviously try to pick Raza’s wicket early.”
Meanwhile, Sikandar Raza said, ” We didn’t assess the wicket when the spinners came on. There is a role for everyone given. We are very flexible. It looks like a better wicket, and I have a feeling this could be a high-scoring game. I don’t want to put a number, and it looks like a Pindi wicket. Same team.”
