SL vs BAN 2nd ODI Playing 11: Charith Asalanka-led Sri Lanka will square off against Mehidy Hasan Miraz-led Bangladesh in the second ODI match of the series on July 05 at R. Premadasa Stadium.
The hosts won the first game of the ODI series in the Bangladesh tour of Sri Lanka 2025 and will be aiming to replicate it to seal the series. Meanwhile, the visitors will be aiming for a win on Sri Lankan soil.
Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bat first. Speaking at the toss, Mehidy Hasan Miraz said, “We’ll bat first. The surface looks similar to the last game. We were upset with the bating collapse last time, but we discussed about it and we know what to expect in these conditions. Two changes for us, Litton Das and Taskin missing out. Hasan Mahmud comes in.”

Meanwhile, Charith Asalanka said, “Would have batted first as well, looks like a good pitch. Nothing much to change, the focus will be on the top-order once again. Two changes for us – Wellalage and Chameera are in for us.”
