The Indian Batter Virat Kohli is set to play his 500th International match against the West Indies at Trinidad on July 20, 2023. Virat Kohli becomes the fourth Indian to play 500 international matches after Indian players Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, and MS Dhoni.

India vs West Indies 2nd Test will be played from 20th July onwards at Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad. Kohli played a gritty innings in the first Test as he scored 76 runs in 182 balls with the help of 5 fours.

Kohli is also the first player to have played more than 100 matches for India across all formats (Tests, ODIs, and T20Is).

Virat Kohli will be the 10th player to play 500 matches in his international career. So far, the record of playing the most international matches is in the name of former Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar, who played 664 international matches in his career.
