Jasprit Bumrah

Jasprit Bumrah who suffers from a back injury struggles a lot to make his comeback into the Indian cricket team. Team India missed the service of the leading pacer in many international games.

Bumrah featured in two of the three T20s against Australia but was pulled out on the eve of the South Africa series, India’s last before the World Cup after he complained of back pain

Bumrah’s last appearance for India was against Australia in the T20I series at home before getting sidelined with a stress reaction in his back.

While Bumrah was expected to play in the Australia test series, BCCI decides not to rush him as the ongoing year was packed with ICC events.

Before the start of the Border Gavaskar trophy 2023, Rohit Sharma confirms that Bumrah will not be available for the first two tests while he expects Bumrah to be back for the last two test series.

Later, BCCI confirms that Bumrah will not be a part of the Indian squad for the WTC 2021-23 final game.
