India delivered a comfortable nine-wicket victory over England in the second Semifinals of the U19 Women’s T20 World Cup in 2025.
With their win, India booked their finals spot and will clash with South Africa on February 02. Indian bowlers were impressive with Sisodia (3/21) and Vaishnavi Sharma (3/23) putting in a stellar performance to restrict England to 113/8.
Meanwhile, Davina Sarah T Perrin was the only scorer for England with 45. However, Parunika’s double strike in the fifth over left England at 37/2 and the wickets continued to fall.
Kamalini Gunalan made an impressive display with bat scoring 56* off 50 deliveries as India chased down the target with ease, finishing with five others and nine wickets to spare. Along with Gunala, Kamalini put together a 50 run partnership in just eight over.

Trisha’s departure brought Sanika Chalke to the Crease and the duo led to comfortable chase in the match. Sisodia was named as the Player of the Match.
“I bowled on the same spot and let the ball do the work. I bowled more to batters instead of doing single-wicket practice,” said player-of-the-match Sisodia.
“It helps me. I need a batter in front of me to try new things. The final is the wish and that’s the goal for all of us here,” she added.
India remains unbeaten in the tournament so as South Africa. It will be interesting contest as both sides will be aiming for an ultimate glory.
India and South Africa will play in the final match of the Women’s T20 World Cup on February 29 at Bayuemas Oval.
