Pakistan batter Fakhar Zaman has been ruled out of the remainder of the West Indies tour due to a hamstring injury which he picked up during the second T20I played in Lauderhill.
He missed the 3rd T20I and has been ruled out for the rest of the Pakistan tour of the West Indies. The incident happened in the 19th over when Fakhar was sprinting in the outfield to stop a boundary.
He was immediately seen in pain, with medical staff rushed in and took a quick assessment whom confirmed a mild strain in his left hamstring.
He will be likely begin his rehabilitation under the PCB medical team at National Cricket Academy in Lahore. However, no replacements has been made.

Fakhar Zaman has scored 28 and 20 in the first T20Is. Despite having made a solid start, he couldn’t convert starts into big scores.
This isn’t first time Fakhar Zaman has suffered a similar injury. In the Champions Trophy, he pulled up chasing a ball and was ruled out of the tournament the very next day. Ironically, he replaced injured Saim Ayub, who himself had been injred in a similar way weeks earlier.
Pakistan managed to outclass the West Indies in the 3rd T20I to win the series 2-1. Batting first, Pakistan openers Farhan and Saim Ayub stitched a 138-run partnership. Their half centuries set the tone as Pakistan to finish at 189/4.
During the West Indies innings, Alick Athanaze scored 60 runs off 40 deliveries and Sherfane Rutherford’s 51 off 35 deliveries, put up a fight against Pakistan in Florida. The ODI series will begin on August 08 at Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Tarouba, Trinidad.
