In an interesting development, it is revealed that fast bowler Avesh Khan is cleared by BCCI to join Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2025 ahead of the next match against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
The 28-year-old who has been dealing with a right knee problem, got clearance from the BCCI medical staff this week and will soon join the LSG squad.
The right-handed bowler has been out of action since the T20I series against South Africa and even missed Madhya Pradesh’s final league match of the Ranji Trophy.
He has been in rehab at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru, where it is understood, he went through one of his final fitness tests on Monday.

However, it could not be confirmed when Avesh Khan would be linking up with the LSG squad, but he is expected to be available for selection for their next match.
