Sachin Tendulkar‘s son, Arjun Tendulkar, has got engaged to Saaniya Chandok, who is the granddaughter of prominent Mumbai businessman Ravi Ghai.
The 25-year-old left-arm bowler is yet to earn his maiden cap for India. However, he has played in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and represented the Mumbai Indians in five matches, where he has claimed three wickets.
Arjun started his career with Mumbai in the 2020-21 season and made his debut in a T20 match against Haryana. Before that, he represented Mumbai at the junior level, which helped him secure a place in India’s U19 setup.
However, he was relieved from Mumbai and moved to Goa in the 2022-23 season, where he also made his First-Class and List A debut. Arjun has played 17 first-class matches so far where he claimed 37 wickets, which includes one five-wicket haul.

He has also 532 runs, which features a tone and a couple of half centuries. Arjun has played 18 List A matches, where he has registered 25 wickets and amassed 102 runs.
Several netizens also uncovered recent pictures of Arjun’s sister, Sara Tendulkar clicking selfies alongside Saaniya during a trip to jaipur earlier this year and attending some IPL matches with Sara in recent seasons.
Meanwhile, The Ghai famil is reowned in the hospitality and food sector and own InterContinental hotel and the ice cream brand Brooklyn Creamery. She is known to keep a low public profile.
As per reports, Saaniya is a Designated Partner and Director at Mr. Paws Pet Spa & Store LLP, based in Mumbai.
As per the report, the engagment ceremony was a private affair and was graced by close friends and family from both sides. Both the Tendulkar or the Ghai family are yet to issue to an official statement on the same.
