Angelo Mathews | B-Love Kandy
Body is feeling very good. The schedule was very demanding and we had to rise up to the occasion. Bad day for Wanindu who single-handedly took us to the final. We had to do it for him today.
I tried to give my 100%. Wanindu asked if I could bowl and I agreed, I worked hard. Pleasing performance, I was able to contribute in all three departments. Credit should go to to Dambulla as well – they had a fantastic series. It happened to be our game today.
It was a good toss to lose. The bowlers bowled brilliantly. A fantastic environment was created for all of us to go out there and play with freedom. Thanks to the fans. It was so pleasing to see Kandy fans in large numbers.
