MI vs RR Probable Playing 11: After suffering back-to-back defeats in their first two matches of the IPL 2024 campaign, Mumbai Indians will be looking for a victory in their next match set to be played at their home ground.
Mumbai lost their first match of the campaign against Gujarat Titans by 6 runs and suffered the loss in the second test against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals had a positive start in the tournament with two victories in the campaign. They won the match against Lucknow and Delhi and expect to play their third match against Mumbai Indians on April 01.
“Everyone is different, Rohit has a different way of leading the side, and Hardik has a different way. As we all know, Hardik is one of the successful captains coming from GT where they made two finals in two years,” said Piyush Chawla.
“I think this tournament and T20 cricket is all about momentum. You always want to win every game, but it is about playing good cricket and getting on a roll. We’ve had a good start to the season equally. Last year we had a good start to the tournament and things didn’t quite go the way we wanted,” said Trent Boult.
Currently, Rajasthan Royals stands third while Mumbai Indians was placed in the bottom of the IPL 2024 points table.
