    The most awaited moment for Dhoni’s fan scattered after BCCI announcement of IPL postpone. BCCI postponed IPL 2020 to mid of April in concern to avoid the spread of corona virus. Due to the increase in infection execution of postponed IPL seems doubtful.

    BCCI comes up with an new idea to host the tournament in order to prevent the huge money loss. This IPL plays a crucial role in Dhoni’s future carrier in Indian team.

    Dhoni’s absence

    Since India’s semi-final exit from the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 against New Zealand in August last year, MSD made himself unavailable for selection. During his break from cricket, the 38-year-old also served for the Indian Army too.

    In his absence Pant and KL Rahul’s name were enrolled and gave a chance to prove them self. Where KL Rahul use this golden opportunity and show his best as compared with Pant. Recently in an interview Indian former player Virender Sehwag advice Indian team to go along with their current squad where Indian domestic legend Wasim Jaffer defends Dhoni and points the importance for his presence.

    Gavaskar’s view on Dhoni

    Under this circumstance former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has expressed his thoughts on MS Dhoni’s possible return into India’s T20 World Cup squad for later this year.

    Gavaskar has now claimed that as much as he would like to see MSD being part of India’s World Cup squad, however, he feels like Dhoni won’t be boarding the flight for Australia with the rest of the Men In Blue.

    “I would certainly like to see Dhoni in India’s World Cup squad but it’s highly unlikely to happen. The team has moved on. Dhoni is not someone to make big announcements so I reckon he would silently retire from the game,” Gavaskar was quoted as saying by Dainik Jagran.

    Previously BCCI officials states that Dhoni’s performance in this IPL would bag him a chance to get back into squad. But the IPL execution comes into oscillation which leads Dhoni’s fan to worry about his further appearance in International games.
