TATA IPL 2024 Schedule: The 17th season of the Indian Premier League will be played between March 22 and May 26, 2024 in India. IPL 2024 will follow a Group stage and playoff format where a total of 74 matches will be played between 10 teams.

Ahead of the IPL 2024, BCCI hosted the IPL 2024 Auction in Dubai on December 19 while November 26 was set as the deadline for the teams to finalise their retention and released players list. Notably, this will be the first time an IPL auction is conducted overseas.
As of the previous season, BCCI allowed franchises to use the “TRADE” option where teams can exchange players between them. BCCI introduced two new rules for the 2024 season.
TATA IPL 2024 Schedule
The 2024 IPL will be played in its regular window which is March-May. As of the previous season, a total of 70 league games, 2 Qualifier, 1 Eliminator, and one Final will be played.
As per IPL 2024 Schedule, the first match will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru on March 22 in Chennai. As per a report, IPL 2024 is likely to be held in India regardless of the elections in the country.
The IPL 2024 schedule is expected to be announced following the election dates announcement, but the BCCI is confident in conducting the entire league in India.
BCCI announced the IPL 2024 Schedule for the first 15 days of the tournament on February 22, 2024.
