In September 2022, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced the fixtures of the series, along with the 2023 Men’s and Women’s Ashes. On 2 May 2023, ECB announced the revised schedule for the series. The decision took place following confirmation of the women’s cricket tournament at the Asian Games.
