    Kiran Navgire Biography: Kiran Navgire was an athlete before pursuing her career as a cricketer. She started his passion for cricket after seeing the Indian former Captain MS Dhoni‘s winning six in the final match of the World Cup 2011 against Sri Lanka.

    She played cricket for the first time during her graduation from Savitribai Phule Pune University. Kiran Navgire represented her university for the first time in 2013-14 without any training. She also represented Pune University in Javelin throw, shot Put, and 100m.

    Kiran Navgire Biography: Kiran’s father Prabhu is a farmer and her mother Latha is a homemaker. She has two brothers Rajnarayan and Akshay. She spent her childhood in Solapur. She completed her schooling at Shree Chandrashekar Vidyalaya in Sripur, a small village in Solapur.

    The school was 7 km away from her home and she used to cycle 14 km up and down which also helped her to develop her stamina.

    She represented her school in various games at the Taluka and state level. She lost the javelin throw at the state level in 2008, but she won at the state level in 2009. She played nationals in 2010 and 2011.

    Domestic Career

    • Kiran Navgire made her domestic debut in the 2018-19 season with Maharashtra in the Senior Women’s One-Day League.
    • She then decided to play as a guest player with the Nagaland team because she was sidelined during the Women’s Senior T20 Trophy in the Maharashtra Cricket Team.
    • While playing for Nagaland, she became the first woman to score more than 150 runs in a T20I innings after scoring an unbeaten century of 162 of 76 balls against Arunachal Pradesh at the Barsapara Stadium on 15 April 2022.

    Senior Women’s T20 Challenge 2022

    • On the first match of the Senior Women’s T20 Challenger match on November 20, 2022, Kiran was dismissed for 10 runs by Pawar and their side failed to chase the target of 160 runs and suffered defeat by 34 runs.
    • During the 2nd match on November 22, 2022, Kiran scored 9 runs on their side’s chasing 165 runs against India D, but eventually suffered a defeat by 47 runs difference.
    • Kiran scored 7 runs during the match between India C and India B on November 24, 2022, where the latter won the match by four wickets.

    Women’s T20 Challenge 2022

    • During the 3rd match in the Women’s T20 Challenge 2022 between Trailblazers and Velocity, Kiran scored 69 runs on 34 deliveries for Velocity, but Trailblazers won the match on 16 runs.

    WPL 2023

    • During WPL 2023, UP Warriorz signed Kiran for INR 30 Lakh in the WPL auction 2023.
    • In UP Warriorz’s first game against Gujarat Giants Women, Kiran Nagvire scored 53 runs on 43 deliveries and helped the side to win the match by 3 wickets.
    • During the UP Warriorz second match against Delhi Capitals in the WPL 2023 on 07 March 2023, Kiran was sent out with 2 runs by Jonassen where their side lost the match by 42 runs.
    • During the tournament’s 8th match UP Warriorz is scheduled to play against RCB Women on March 10, UP Warriors faced RCB Women where she didn’t get a chance to bat as the openers chased the target of 139 in 13 overs.

    • Kiran made her T20I debut during the first T20I match of India women’s tour of England on September 10, 2022, at Chester-le-street where England won the match by 9 wickets. she was dismissed for 7 runs by Sarah Glenn. Glenn dismissed four wickets in the match helping the side fold India on a low score.
    • During the second T20I, She didn’t get a chance to bat as the top order finished the match by chasing the target of 143 runs in the 17th over.
    • On October 03, 2022, She was sent out with a golden duck on the 6th match of the Women’s Asia Cup against Malaysia. But India managed to win the match by the DLS method.
    • Kiran Navgire scored 10* runs during the 8th match of the Women’s Asia Cup on October 04, 2022, against the United Arab Emirates where India won the match by 104 runs. Kiran was batting in the middle order in that match.
