Defending champions Royal Challengers Bangalore have announced their retained players list for the Women’s Premier League 2025 featuring their skipper Smriti Mandhana, international sensation Ellyse Perry and many others.
Royal Challengers Bangalore under Smriti Mandhana won their first WPL title last season by defeating Delhi Capitals by 8 wickets. RCB’s WPL 2024 title marked the franchise’s first-ever league trophy across the IPL and WPL.
As per WPL 2025 schedule, the first match will be played between Gujarat Giants and Royal Challengers Bengaluru on February 14 at Vadodara International Cricket Stadium.
Ahead of the tournament, BCCI will hold an auction for the teams to revamp their squad. But ahead of the auction, as of the men’s team, BCCI also allow the WPL teams to retain and release its players to format a new squad.
WPL 2025 RCB Retained Players List
As expected, RCB retained its core players ahead of the auction and released some of its players. RCB will enter the auction with a purse value of INR 3.25 cr to fill four slots.
