“We all Forgot that He is just a Human” Krunal’s Emotional Post on Hardik Pandya

Krunal Pandya leaves a heart-touching note for his brother Hardik Pandya after his stunning comeback during the T20 World Cup 2024.

Krunal’s Emotional Post on Hardik Pandya

Indian cricketer Krunal wrote an emotional note for his brother Hardik Pandya following his contribution to the T20 World Cup triumph. Hardik bowled the crucial last over in the final against South Africa and dismissed David Miller on the first ball helping the side to secure a 7-run victory.

Following the win, Hardik received loud cheers after the hate he experienced during the IPL 2024 after Mumbai Indians replaced Rohit Sharma with Hardik Pandya as captain. He was trolled on social media which soon turned into boos after the side finished as second bottom in the points table.

“It’s almost been a decade since Hardik and I started playing professional cricket. And the last few days have been like a fairy tale that we’ve dreamt off. Like every countryman I’ve lived this through our team’s heroics and I couldn’t be more emotional with my brother being at the heart of it,” wrote Krunal in his Instagram post.

He applauded his brother for passing on the hatred he experienced with a smile and working hard to secure a title in the T20 World Cup 2024. “The last six months have been the toughest for Hardik. He simply didn’t deserve what he went through, and as a brother, I felt very, very bad for him.”

“From booing to people saying all kinds of nasty things, at the end of the day, we all forgot that he is just a human being who also has emotions. He somehow passed through all of this with a smile, though I know how hard it was for him to put on a smile. He kept working hard and focusing on what he needed to do to get the World Cup since that was his ultimate objective,” he added.

“He has now played his heart out to realize India’s long-standing dream – And nothing has ever meant to him more. From the age of 6 – It’s playing for the country and winning the World Cup that’s been the dream.”

“I just want to remind people that what Hardik has done in such a short span in his career is unbelievable. His efforts for the national team have never been compromised. Every time, at every stage of Hardik’s life, people have written him off, and that has only motivated him to come back even stronger,” Krunal further wrote.

Hardik Pandya has been impressive during the T20 World Cup 2024 with both bat and ball scoring 144 runs from six innings at an average of 48 and a strike rate of 151.57 including a half-century.

With the ball, he picked up 11 wickets from eight innings with an average of 17.36 and an economy of 7.64. His best bowling performance for the final picked up 3/20 in three overs including the dismissing dangerous batters Heinrich Klaasen and David Miller.
