The all-rounder Georgia Wareham has delivered a clinical performance in the Women’s Hundred 2025 game between Northern Superchargers and Welsh Fire Women.
Her bat and bowling performance secured a 47-run victory, providing a winning start in the campaign.
Batting first, Superchargers went on to post 141 runs with Davina Perrin and Davidson Richards making a decent start.
After Richards’ dismissal for 14 runs, Shabnim Ismail bagged the wickets of Phoebe Litchfield for 4 runs. However, Annabel Sutherland went on to score 28 runs while Armitage and George Wareham went on smash unbeaten 24 and 29 to post 141 runs.
In the pursuit of chasing 142 runs, Sophie Dunkley and Hayley Matthew went on to get dismissed cheaply while Tammy Beaumont went on to score 36 runs.
Other than Tammy, Georgia Elwiss and Katie Levick were the only double digit scorers as other batters were sent out cheaply.

Grace Ballinger, Linsey Smith and Georgia Wareham picked two wickets each while Kate Cross and Annabel Sutherland went on to pick one wicket each.
Georgia Wareham has been named as the Player of the Match. By this high margin win, Northern Superchargers Women claimed their first win and the top spot in the The Hundred Women’s Competition 2025 points table.
The next match will be played between Birmingham Phoenix and Trent Rockets Women on August 08 at Edgbaston, Birmingham.
