Chennai Super Kings captain Ruturaj Gaikwad officially unveiled the CSK 2026 jersey in Chennai, giving fans a first look at the team’s iconic yellow kit for the upcoming Indian Premier League season
The CSK skipper, Ruturaj Gaikwad and batter, Ayush Mhatre, alongside the managing director and CEO, Shenu Agarwal and chairman, Dheeraj Hinduja, highlighted Ashok Leyland as the team’s official sponsor.
The CSK 2026 jersey retains an iconic bright yellow base, symbolising the team’s long-standing identity and strong fan culture known as the “Yellow Army.”
The jersey features subtle modern design elements along with the signature lion crest on the chest, representing the team’s legacy and fighting spirit in the tournament.
CSK have also continued their tribute to the Indian Armed Forces with camouflage-style detailing on the shoulders, a design feature that has become a staple in recent seasons.
The Camouflage stripes have been given on the front of the t-shirt. The principal sponsor Etihad Airways has been present in the front, while the CSK logo, along with five stars (representing five titles on the left side of the chest, while Ashok Leyland has been placed on the right chest.

The logo is placed on the front right chest area of the CSK 2026 jersey as part of a strategic partnership with the franchise.
“Through this partnership, we celebrate our shared values of resilience and high performance. We are proud to support a team that has brought immense pride to our home city,” said Ashok Leyland chairman Dheeraj Hinduja.
Chennai Super Kings kicked off their pre-season campaign preparations last week, and the five-time champions are in their high-performance centre in Navalur under the guidance of assistant coach Rajiv Kumar and assistant bowling coach S. Sriram.

MS Dhoni arrived in Chennai, joining Ayush Mhatre, Urvil Patel, Mukesh Choudhary, and Prashant Veer, who were already in training.
The overseas players are expected to arrive later this month, with CSK head coach Stephen Fleming and bowling coach Eric Simmons slated to join by March 16.
CSK had two challenging seasons, having missed the playoffs in 2024 and finishing at the bottom last year.
