T20 World Cup 2021 Points Table: The ICC T20 World Cup 2021 matches are scheduled to play across Muscat, Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi which kickstarts from October 23, 2021.

BCCI moves the T20 WC 2021 to UAE owing to the unsettled fear of COVID19 which makes them host the IPL 2021 and partial IPL 2021 in UAE.

T20 2020 World cup was postponed due to the Covid-19 until 2022 but T20 World Cup 2021 schedule should be the same as announced.

T20 World Cup 2021 Points Table – International Cricket Council (ICC) has decided that 12 teams will be competing in the Super 12 round of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. However, 8 teams have already been finalized for the Super12 stage of the T20 World Cup 2021.

Super 12 Points Table

T20 World Cup Super 12 Points Table between England, Australia, South Africa, West Indies, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh were placed under Group A while India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Namibia, and Scotland were placed under Group B.

Sri Lanka(A1), Namibia(A2), and Scotland (B1), Bangladesh (B2) were the teams qualified from the first round. The top two teams from each super 12 group will advance to the semi-finals of the ICC T20 WC 2021.

From T20 World Cup Qualifiers Points Table – The remaining 4 teams will be selected through the qualifier stage of T20 World Cup 2021 which will take place from October 17 to October 22 and in total 8 teams will be fighting to get the remaining 4 slots in the Super12s. T20 World Cup 2021 Points Table Rules

The rules for T20 World Cup 2021 Points Table – Every team playing the T20 WC 2021 will look to end up in the top two positions on the points table of their group. This rule remains the same for both Round 1 and the Super 12 stages.

There are some pretty basic rules for earning points in the T20 World Cup 2021.

  • A team gets 2 points for a win.
  • A team gets 1 point in case the game is abandoned, tied, or ends abruptly as No Result.
  • A team gets 0 points in case of a loss.

The T20 World Cup standings will decide which teams get knocked out after Round 1 and the Super 12 stage and which teams play whom in the next stage.

ICC T20 WC 2021 Anthem

The official anthem for the ICC T20 World Cup 2021, scheduled to be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman from October 17 to November 14, was launched by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Thursday in collaboration with its broadcast partners Star Sports.

Composed by Indian music director Amit Trivedi, the video features young cricket fans from across the world as well as animated versions of India captain Virat Kohli, West Indies’ Kieron Pollard, Australia’s Glenn Maxwell and Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan.

From October 3, 2021, ICC opens the ticket booking service for T20 World Cup 2021.

All fans wishing to attend matches must follow all COVID 19 protocols laid out on www.t20worldcup.com/tickets/biosecurity-measures and note the different stadium entry guidelines which will be updated in real-time as per the latest government mandates.

As T20 World Cup plays in 4 different venues, user have to pick the venue in which he/she wants to book the ticket(users may place in the queue in prior to book tickets owing to high demand).
